I know this is a games contest but our lawyers inform us that we need something official, so here goes:

1. This competition is being run by Lock Paper Scissors Pty Ltd.


2. The competition is open worldwide to all people under 170 years of age, inclusive. The final winner will be chosen as the 'best game for the age of the designers'.


3. This competition is only eligible to those who have purchased the Escape Room Master Class Kit.


4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.


5. Closing date for entry will be the 4th of October, 2021. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.


6. No responsibility is accepted by Lock Paper Scissors for entries not received, or received, for any reason.


7. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
   - Download the Escape Room Master Class Kit.
   - Create an escape room game using the Master Class kit, or starting from scratch.
   - The game must be a maximum of 7 pages long. (Entrants can submit a separate instructions document in addition to the 7-page maximum)
   - Submit the completed game using the Online form.
   - The completed game must be the works of a child under 17 years old.
   - A parent or guardian may submit their child's game and manage communications on behalf of their child.
   - The winner must be able to receive payments via PayPal.
   - The winner will be selected after the contest closes on the 30th September, and notified before the 24th October.


8. All submissions will be considered the property of Lock Paper Scissors. Lock Paper Scissors reserves the right to modify and distribute all submissions, in addition to incorporating submissions into future marketing.


9. The winner agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant's prior consent.


10. The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter's control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.


11. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.


12. The prize is as follows:
    - $250 USD to be paid in full to into a PayPal account.
    - The winner's game will be shared on the Lock Paper Scissors website and on social media.
    - The winner will have the option of being interviewed and their interview shared on the Lock Paper Scissors Website and social media channels.
    - The winner will receive a magical Escape Wizard title.
    - The second place winner will receive a VIP Box.
    - Best game under 8yo will receive a Kids Box.
    - Best game under 12yo will receive a Kids Box.
    - Best game under 17yo will receive a Big Box.


13. The prize is as stated and no other alternatives will be offered. The prizes are not transferable.


14. Winners will be chosen by the Lock Paper Scissors team after a review of all entries.


15. The winner will be notified by email within 25 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.


16. Lock Paper Scissors will remain in contact with the winner to conduct the interview and select a magical title.


17. The promoter's decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final.


18. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.


19. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
